It’s been a roller-coaster ride for the boys in green and white. In dark days of sectarian division when players were given death threats and during a goal famine that lasted two years, it seemed that ‘Norn Iron’ had reached their lowest ebb. Then two significant names appeared on the scene – David Healy and Lawrie Sanchez – and somehow things slowly turned around. The goal was scored, a match was won and the team started to move up the rankings, and shame turned to pride. The tide had turned for the Green and White Army.
