Greenmount - Land of Learning traces the fascinating story of agricultural education at Greenmount College outside Antrim. From its first tentative steps in the early 1900s to the purchase of various farms including the hill farm at Glenwherry, and the development of its farm buildings, research facilities, curriculum and teaching provision, Greenmount is now definitely at the cutting edge.

Whenever past students or staffof Greenmount meet, it is not very long before stories start to flow and the reminiscing begins. The phrase most often heard at these gatherings is "It was the best year of my life." The world-class reputation of the College, the continuing high success rate of the students and their contribution to many facets of the Northern Ireland agri-food industries suggest that without doubt the last 90 years at Greenmount for most was indeed "time well spent."
